Why do I need to provide the name of every guest to book this tour?

The full names of all participants must be provided at the time of booking and match the names on their ID. The Colosseum requires all guests (including children) to present government ID at the time of entry. Therefore any guest that does not submit their name in advance of the tour, or who does not bring their ID to the meeting point, will be refused participation without refund.

Can I change a name after booking?

Name corrections are possible up to 7 days before the visit. After this, changes may not be possible.

It's very important that you provide your full name exactly as it matches your ID at time of booking. If the name on your ticket does not match your ID, security may deny entry and sadly there's nothing we can do. Refunds will not be provided.

There are uneven surfaces, cobblestones, and some inclines, particularly climbing Palatine Hill. Comfortable walking shoes and water are worth packing, especially in warmer months.

What happens if it rains?

Accepted Answer

The tour runs rain or shine. Much of the Colosseum has covered areas, but the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill are open-air. Your guide will adjust the route where possible. A light rain jacket works better than an umbrella here, as it keeps your hands free for photos and navigating uneven ground.
