Come hungry. Our Rome food tours are designed to replace a full meal, with multiple generous tastings along the way. Depending on the route, you may sample cured meats, fresh pasta, street food, wine, gelato, and classic Roman dishes served the way locals eat them.

Are your Rome food tours suitable for people with dietary needs?

We can accommodate most dietary restrictions and allergies—just let us know when booking. Sadly we’re not able to fully accommodate vegan diets or guests with celiac disease on all tours due to the risk of cross-contamination at some stops.

Usually, yes. We can often accommodate vegetarians and some other dietary needs with advance notice. Because many traditional Roman dishes rely on wheat, dairy, or cured meats, options for vegans and severe gluten allergies may be more limited on certain tours.

Rome is best explored on foot, and our tours move at a relaxed pace through lively neighborhoods and historic streets. There will be opportunities to sit, eat, and rest throughout. We recommend comfortable shoes, especially on Rome’s cobblestones.
