Your guide is an expert on the cathedral's architecture, its history, and the restoration work completed after the 2019 fire. In a group of no more than five people, you'll have space to ask questions and hear stories that aren't on any signpost. Most of our guests tell us they saw details they would have walked straight past without a guide.

Around 90 minutes, including guided time and free time to explore on your own afterward. The walking tour of Île de la Cité takes approximately 45 minutes after that.

How big is the group on this Notre-Dame cathedral tour?

A maximum of five guests. It's one of our smallest group sizes, which means your guide can tailor the conversation and pace to the people in the room.

Notre-Dame is an active place of worship, so shoulders and knees should be covered. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended for the island walking tour, which includes some cobblestone streets.
