Absolutely, and it’s actually the best time to see her. On late-opening nights, our Night tour of the Louvre grants you access with a late-entry ticket, meaning you can visit the Mona Lisa at the most peaceful time of day, without the huge afternoon crowds.

Definitely. Evenings are quieter, the lighting is softer, and the atmosphere is more intimate. It’s a very different experience to the daytime rush.

The quietest time to see the Mona Lisa is before the Louvre closes, which you can experience with a late-entry ticket on our closing time tour. The best time to see Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece is around 40 minutes before closing time, which is why it’s the last stop on our tour, so we arrive when the museum is almost empty.

How much walking does this tour involve?

Comfortable walking shoes are essential! You will be on your feet for most of the three hours. Sadly, this tour route is not fully wheelchair accessible. However, an alternate route can be arranged to accommodate visitors in wheelchairs. Please contact us at least one week before the tour so we can help plan your visit.
