The route and tastings match our small group tour, but the flexibility means your guide can go deeper into the stories behind each bar and shape the evening around what interests you.

Accepted Answer

You'll try 9+ different dishes across four stops, with a drink at each one. The tour is designed to replace dinner. Dishes range from salt cod fritters and Manchego at the first tavern to sizzling garlic shrimp at the last, with Spanish tortilla, stuffed mushrooms, padrón peppers, croquettes, and tomato salad along the way.

Four drinks are included, one at each stop. You'll try vermouth on tap, dry Asturian cider poured the traditional way, tinto de verano, and house wine from the final bar's own vineyards. Non-alcoholic alternatives are available at every stop. Let us know when you book and your guide will arrange them.

Can dietary needs be accommodated on a private tapas tour?

Yes. We can adapt the tastings for vegetarians, pescatarians, those with gluten sensitivities (not celiac disease), dairy-free diets, and pregnant guests. Non-alcoholic options are available at every stop. Please note your requirements when you book, and your guide will coordinate directly with each bar. Due to the risk of gluten cross-contamination in shared kitchens, we're unable to accommodate guests with celiac disease. We're also unable to accommodate vegan diets on this tour.

How much walking is involved?

The tour covers roughly 2 kilometers over 3.5 hours, with four seated or standing stops along the way. The pace is relaxed and the route is mostly flat, though some streets in the historic center are cobblestone. Wear shoes you feel comfortable in.

We welcome families, and the tour works well for groups with older children and teenagers who are comfortable walking for a few hours and staying out in the evening.
