Street parking is available, but spaces can be hard to find and parking regulations vary from block to block. If you’re planning to visit a popular restaurant, public transport or a taxi/rideshare is often much easier than driving. If you do drive, allow extra time to find a space or look for a nearby paid car park.

Do I need to book restaurants in Brooklyn?

It depends on where you eat. Popular restaurants and fine-dining spots often require or strongly recommend reservations, while many casual pizzerias, taco shops, delis and neighbourhood restaurants operate on a walk-in basis. For sought-after restaurants such as Lilia, Aska or Lucali, check the booking arrangements before you go, and book as far ahead as possible.

Take a tour of Grand Central Terminal, or the Met Art Museum with us!

Have we woken your desire to discover more of New York City?

From riding the ferry to the Statue of Liberty and exploring the treasures of The Metropolitan Museum of Art to uncovering the hidden corners of Grand Central Terminal, WalksDevour offers a range of small-group experiences designed to take you beyond the usual tourist trail.
